Eden, long after the fall. An apple balances on a man’s head like a target; the serpent coils close by. Ladders rise to nowhere, kings sit crowned and pale, a cloud mushrooms over ruined arches, and enormous faces howl at it all. Temptation, power, ruin and comedy, all in one breath. The garden never closed. It simply grew wild.
