Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy a print from kmhoffmann.com. Prints are sold by Karl Hoffmann, an artist based in Auckland, New Zealand. By placing an order you agree to them.

Prices and payment

  • All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include 15% GST.
  • Orders shipping outside New Zealand don’t pay NZ GST: it comes off at checkout.
  • Shipping is added at checkout. Costs are listed on the shipping and returns page.
  • International orders may be charged import duties, taxes or handling fees by the destination country. These aren’t included in our prices and are the buyer’s responsibility.
  • Payment is taken by Stripe when you place your order.

Your order

  • Your order is confirmed when payment goes through and you receive a confirmation email.
  • If we can’t fulfil an order, for example because the last print in an edition sold at the same moment or a price was shown wrongly, we’ll let you know and refund you in full.

The prints

  • Every print is an archival giclée on Hahnemühle fine art paper, signed and numbered, in a limited edition for each size. Once an edition sells out, that size is not printed again.
  • Sizes are the image area, rounded to the nearest 5 mm, and keep the original’s proportions.
  • Colours on screen vary between devices, so a print can look slightly different from the image on your screen. The textures of the papers are part of each print.
  • Every print is made to order. Production and delivery times are on the shipping and returns page.

Returns, damage and lost parcels

You can return an unframed print within 14 days of delivery for a change of mind. Damaged, faulty or lost prints are replaced or refunded. The details are on the shipping and returns page. None of this affects your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

All works are © Karl Hoffmann. Buying a print gives you the print, not the right to copy, reproduce or sell the image.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
